My largest project to date, this hardcover was published in 2015.
It's a 240-page history of the city, up to its Bicentennial in 2014. I designed
the pages and the covers, created the infographics, shot many
of the photographs and wrote some of the copy, too.
A copy was available to each household in Independence in fall 2015.
Proceeds from the sale of additional copies benefit
the nonprofit Friends of Independence.
Designed for the city's Bicentennial celebration in 2014.
The banners were hung throughout the city campus (shown here),
along the main road through town, and in the Rockside Road business district.

These were displayed at various events during the Bicentennial celebration.
